Drama, Drama , Drama

I started this blog to begin blogging as my since of support for other women who find themselves in my current life , as step mom of 4 children. It is a rough and I feel much unappriecated at times. I love my husband even with the drama but it does cause some bumps along the way. One day they will all be grown and Mike and I will be missing the drama somehow.
The Gosslings have ( 8 kids) and I love to watch their show. I feel like our life is a reality show or a sitcom, however you see it.
I also have many funny tales of my nursing career and can offer any advice in that matter too.
Sorry if I have offended anyone and I removed all other controversial posts.
I feel I can exercise my rights of freedom of speech.

Memorial Service

Yesterday we had a beautiful Memorial service for my grandmother Margaret "Cricket "Brown. It was so sad due to "family circumstances " that her sisters and neices were unable to attend. It is so sad that families can not seem to get along. Even when tragedy strikes , that family members can not come together and make peace somehow.

The Price of Groceries!!

I went grocery shopping today and spent $166. I feel like I did not get anything at all. Meat is so high. Eggs are almost $2 a dozen, milk $5 a gallon. I paid $3.19 a gallon for gas today. It is crazy. What are people going to do? We need a new president bad. I have never been a politcal person, in fact I have never voted. I know how un american and how bad as a woman. It always seemed I was busy that day or it would fall on my son's bday 11/5. This year may be different for me. For one I am going to work on getting out of debt. I ordered Dave Ramsey's program and Mike and I listened to our first lesson today. The first lesson ( a baby step) is to put away $1000.00 in savings quick. I am so lost and so in debt. Don't know what to do anymore. Everything goes up and our income does not adjust up for the cost of living. We are both going to get second jobs. The price we must pay away from our kids just to stay afloat. A sacrfice we now have to make.

Once Two Families, now we're one. Look what love has done!

We began our crazy family December 4th 2004. I met the love of my life on May 2004 after 9 years of being single. When I met Mike he had 4 children, yes I will repeat 4 children. I know I must have been crazy. Ha Ha!! His kids at the time Andrea 14, Brooke 10, Dylan 9, and Dalton 4. Along with his crew came 2 mothers, yes 2 mothers. I had from my first marriage one son Preston age 10 at the time. We had a beautiful wedding with our children. It was wonderful. In January 2005 we went on our belated honeymoon on a 5 day cruise to the carribean. Although Mike had severe motion sickness, it was a fabulous honeymoon. After coming back to reality we found out we were expecting a baby. We were shocked and surprised and not planning for this yet. Our Little Princess Eisley was born 3 wks early September 7th 2005. Life has been a roller coaster since then .I guess I was completely dumb to what our life would become and if we make it through all of this it will be a miracle. We know we love each other , we love our kids and together somehow we will get through this.( at least that is what we tell ourselves) Our life is a Reality Show.
